Former international footballer, Hope Powell CBE received an honorary fellowship from 牛牛资源 in 2017.

Hope Powell CBE was appointed as the first ever full-time National Coach of the England Women鈥檚 team in June 1998. She was the youngest-ever England coach and the first female England coach.

She led England's Lionesses as well as the Great Britain women's Olympic football team until August 2013.

Born in Lewisham, she played for Millwall Lionesses and won 66 caps playing for England, scoring 35 goals.

In 1998 the FA appointed her England鈥檚 first ever full-time national coach and in 2003 she became the first woman to achieve the UEFA Pro Licence. She led the team at four UEFA Women's Championships and twice took England to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup and in 2009 reached the European Championship final in Germany.

She was awarded an OBE in 2002 and a CBE in 2010 in recognition of her contribution to the sport. 

In 2017, 牛牛资源 awarded Hope Powell an honorary fellowship.
