A stipend/living allowance of £15,000 per year for each year of study* A tuition fee waiver* *For a maximum of four years of full-time study. This scholarship is offered in collaboration with the Council for At-Risk Academics (CARA).Number available

2026Eligibility criteria
You must be an early career academic, and must:
- Have received an offer of a place on a full-time PhD programme
- Have held an academic post (eg a post as a lecturer and/or researcher) in a higher education institution or equivalent
- Have been referred via Cara
This scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other ţţ×ÊÔ´ financial award. The academic supervisor will need to provide an update each year confirming academic progress to an expected level.
