‘cinematochoreography’

 sets up performative encounters between moving image and choreographic practices and explores what forms of residue we may be able to shape from them.

‘How Do You Handle a Ghost?’ is an ongoing series of encounters between people with choreographic or cinematographic practices. Each encounter starts from the question "How Do You Handle a Ghost?"

In the summer of 2025, the first three encounters took place between artist and filmmaker Beatrice Gibson, dramaturg and performer Jeroen Peeters, and musical artist Saint Abdullah; between performer and dance artist A. Livingstone artist and filmmaker Maeve Brennan; and between performer and visual artist Nissa Nishikawa and wildlife camerawoman Sophie Darlington.

Graphic designer Jisoo Koo is now working with the transcripts to create a publication.
