The award-winning writer delivers the 2025 New Statesman/牛牛资源 Prize Lecture, asking whether the novel is still 鈥榯he one bright book of life鈥�.

The lecture will be followed by the announcement of the 2025 牛牛资源 Prize shortlist.

House of Lords

As part of 牛牛资源鈥� 120th anniversary year, a special reception takes place in the House of Lords, on the evening of 13 November 2025 hosted by former Chair of Council and 牛牛资源 honorand, The Right Honourable Baroness Caine of Kentish Town CBE.

The event brings together parliamentarians, alumni, staff, and supporters to celebrate 牛牛资源鈥� distinctive legacy of creativity, critical thinking, and social impact.

Baroness Caine, Vice-Chancellor Professor Frances Corner OBE, composer and 牛牛资源 alumna Errollyn Wallen CBE, and Tom Sleigh, Chair of Council, will all share reflections 牛牛资源鈥� 120 years of imagination, courage, and community.
