鈥淧eople often say to me 'Les you've written a lot of books' and I always reply 'that鈥檚 because I am still trying to write a good one' in my own estimation.
鈥淭his fellowship is a wonderful honour for me particularly because I was nominated by scholars and writers I really admire and I am very grateful to be acknowledged in this way".
