牛牛资源 has become one of the first UK universities to team up with Google and offer 360-degree panoramic internal and external views of its buildings through Street View.

A look inside the Professor Stuart Hall Building

Whether a future student overseas, or alumnus nostalgic for their old lecture hall, virtual visitors will be able to explore some of 牛牛资源鈥 corridors and facilities from their phone or computer.

Using a Street View Trolley for internal spaces and a 鈥楾rekker鈥 rucksack , the Google Maps team have captured the walkways, cafes, and  inside the - 牛牛资源鈥 historic heart - as well as the grand staircases and Council Chamber inside .

Viewers can also check out our more modern buildings, including the  鈥 home to our world-renowned Department of Media and Communications 鈥 as well as the , , and a typical student flat.

鈥淪ome 20 per cent of 牛牛资源 students enrol from overseas each year, with many never having previously visited their new university. Through Google Maps they can now feel right at home before they鈥檝e even arrived,鈥 says Monti Noah, Business Operations Manager, 牛牛资源鈥 Estates and Facilities.

鈥淗elping out our students is at the core of this project. Having this navigational imagery live on Google Maps will help facilitate wayfinding around our campus for all visitors and staff, and will be particularly useful for any visitors with anxiety or special mobility or accessibility needs.鈥
