Future Histories: Archive exhibition and social media campaign launch
FUTURE HISTORIES, the UK鈥檚 first national repository for African, Asian and Caribbean performing arts, is pleased to invite you to a reception at Special Collections and Archives, the Library, 牛牛资源 University, New Cross, London SE14 6NW, on January 22 from 5.30 to 8.00pm for the launch of a social media campaign on selected items from the collections.
The evening will also mark the beginning of a new collaboration between FUTURE HISTORIES and 牛牛资源 University to make the archives held by FUTURE HISTORIES accessible through the Library鈥檚 reading room, facilitating future archival research and enabling greater access to unique resources on African, Asian and intercultural performance in the UK. Between 19th Jan and 27th Feb follow #FutureHistoriesArchive to view selected treasures from the archives .
FUTURE HISTORIES includes material from the motiroti, Black Theatre Forum and NITRO (formerly known as Black Theatre Cooperative), archives, all available for access at 牛牛资源 University, and Talawa Theatre archive, currently housed at V&A Blythe House. The full catalogues are available on the National Archives website and soon on 牛牛资源 Special Collections and Archives webpages.
